1. About SportsMix?
We are New Mexico’s first Sports and Social League. We provide you with cool, exciting, quality run co-ed sports leagues for age 18+, we also organize a variety of fun, exciting, and creative social events we like to call “Mixers”. After each week’s games, SportsMix sends you to our organized post game Mixers at local restaurants and cantinas to continue the fun. Come and hang out with your teammates and mix and mingle with other teams’ members….and yes a very cool SportsMix T-Shirt is included for each person on the teams’ roster.

2. Do I need to become a member to participate?
Yes. Sign up and get "A Locker" (a free membership) to continue to receive updates on all of ourSportsMix events. We make is easy and convenient to become a member, register your team, and pay all on our website. We save you a trip to turn in paper rosters and waivers.
3. How does SportsMix give to charity?
SportsMix is also focused on building on the community donating prize money to winning teams’ charity of choice. SportsMix is all about encouraging living a balanced lifestyle through physical fitness (playing sports), social interaction (Mixers) and spirit (community involvement).

No. We rent out and play in ABQ's public/private facilities such as parks and community centers, etc. We want to bring sports leagues to a neighborhood near you whether you want to play near your home or work. Also, by playing at our local parks and community centers, we support the community. SportsMix also will donate used equipment back to the community centers to benefit our youth like the after school programs.
Sign up! SportsMix is co-ed recreational at this point; however, we are in the planning stages to accommodate all skill levels with different divisions. The Jock League will be competitive. We recommend you have competitive experience. The Fun League is if you're looking more for the social than the competition or consider yourself a beginner at the organized game. Since SportsMix is more than just sports with our social and charity focus you don’t need to be a “Jock” to participate.

If you included your team members email address on the roster, they will be sent a "SportsPak" which includes: schedule, rules, roster, mixer info. If their email address was NOT included, captains will be responsible for notifying their players. Let SportsMix do the work for you! Just complete your roster with email addresses and we'll take care of the rest. Just remember each player must be a SportMix member and must sign a waiver prior to playing. Our memberships are FREE!
Yes. Complete the registration and payment process to assure that your team will have a spot in our league. Captains are given 3 weeks after the start of the season to complete or make changes as needed their rosters. Rosters will then close. Your team will be notified when roster the deadline approaching via email.
There are two options:
1. If you are one or two people short of a full squad you can sign up and pay for a full team and SportsMix will be happy to complete your roster by adding players who signed up as individuals. Please advise us if this is the case in the comments. However, please keep in mind that the individual fees can not be transferred over to your team fee.
2. Your other option is to all register and pay as "free agents" and indicate you want to be on the same team by referencing a team name, or the names of your team members in the comments field.
Your team registration is not complete until we receive payment of the league fee. In order to receive the team discount, we must receive payment from 1 source. We fill our leagues on a first paid basis so we recommend paying when you register so you don’t lose your spot.
14. What is a free agent?
An individual or small group who does not have a team but wants to be placed on a team. This is a great option to meet new people and develop friendships and create future teams.
YES! We want everyone to be able to play. You can register for all our leagues as a “free agent” and we will place you on a team with other individuals and small groups. This is a great way to meet new people, and many of the teams we put together come back as full teams the next season.
We wait until we sell out all our free agent slots before we create rosters. This enables us to work our magic and try and put together the best teams using our secret formula. You will receive an email with your roster about one week prior to the start of the season.
Yes, if you and your friends register as free agents and request to be together we will place you on the same team. Tell each member of your group to complete the Free Agent Registration Form on our website (
www.sportsmixnm.com) making sure to type your name in the “Comments” field. This will ensure that you are all placed on the same team. After clicking Submit, each person can pay the free agent league fee by credit card via our secure server.
SportsMix doesn’t have an attendance policy, but we do encourage you to make as many games as you can. We generally tell people not to sign-up if they know that they will miss ½ of the games.

No problem. We’re happy to take checks as well. Please make the checks payable to SportsMix and send to: SportsMix, P.O. Box 2983 Corrales, New Mexico 87048 . Please note that we cannot hold your roster spot until we receive your check.
You can expect to receive more information via email about one (1) week before the start of each season. The dates of the games will be available when you log in and click on "schedule" in your locker.
Our official refund policy is that SportsMix will provide a full refund (less applicable credit card processing expenses) any time up to two weeks prior to any event or league. Any time from two weeks prior until the actual event/league, SportsMix will only offer a refund if we are able to fill the slots with other teams/members. After the start of a league, we will not be able to offer any refunds.
SportsMix cannot force you to eat, drink, and be merry, but we can strongly encourage it. C’mon isn’t this one of the reasons you joined our leagues anyway?
