JOB DESCRIPTION
SportsMix is the first sports & social league in Albuquerque that professionally organizes a variety of sports for active, hard working adults in ABQ. We are looking for sales positions to sell and promote our sports leagues and sponsorships to a variety of organizations (B2B). Daily activities include describing company benefits, and present special offers, convincing them for a sales rep visit. Collecting info about clients and document them. Entering customer details into computer database including appointment dates or calls taking orders. Responsibilities and duties include:
- Establish new contacts/accounts
- Working with directors to establish sales campaigns for promoting leagues and sponsorships to present to potential customers.
- Develop immediate client relationship
- Develop customer contact database
- Maintain Follow up procedures
- Help establish new sales system
REQUIRED
- Great sales personality and presentation skills.
- Must be persuasive, firm, well-mannered and a good negotiator
- Computer skills
- Demonstrate a dependable and reliable work history.
- Our ideal candidate is enthusiastic, personable, goal-oriented, professional, and results-driven. Works well with a team but can also work effectively while being self-managed.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
PREFERRED
- Experience in Sales
- Experience & Knowledge playing and/or coaching sports
- Some college education or Bachelor’s degree
